The music abruptly stopped. They stood hand in hand in the center of the dance floor under the twinkle lights. Amanda and Raymarc were sharing their first dance. All you heard from their friends and family were ohs and ahs as the music picked back up again. Their slow dance song quickly turned into an upbeat medley of different genres. They were ready to put on a show (which is something we’ve never seen before!). If you are a visual person, they went from a playful jive to a steamy salsa. We definitely didn’t know these two had this up their sleeves, so you can only imagine how surprised their families were! Amanda and Raymarc’s smiles never left their faces.
The first dance at a wedding is pretty telling of a couple’s personality. Some are very shy and timid, swaying slowly back and forth, hoping for the song to end sooner. Whereas others really enjoy the spotlight in the moment, so much so that even when all eyes are on them, it’s like they are the only two in the room. That’s what it was like for Amanda and Raymarc. These two are so playful and purely joyful people. Don’t get us wrong, they both shed plenty of tears throughout the day, but their happiness radiated off of them the entire time. This just proves how much fun they like to have. These two are inseparable and love experiencing things together. Everyone knows they are the best of friends.
You all know we are hopeless romantics. This has to be our favorite love story thus far. Watching these two effortlessly groove about the dance floor and seamlessly transition between the different genres cued all the heart eyes. There was a magic about them. Their smiles grew bigger every time they made eye contact, they were googly eyes for each other. They melted into each other every time they embraced. The elegant and vintage pavilion at Oak Hill Farm was the perfect backdrop for this moment. (Let’s be real, and for their entire day). Even though it was a very spacious room, their love filled the entire space.
Amanda and Raymarc, what can we say? We are speechless. Watching you two do even the simplest of things, like look at each other or just interact with each other, makes us so happy. Our hearts are so full after celebrating you two. We absolutely love having you in front of the camera, especially because even at your engagement session you two were naturals. You are the sweetest couple and have such big hearts for all of those around you. We cherish your friendship and can’t wait to see what being Mr. and Mrs. has in store. Thank you so much for allowing us to be a part of such a special day. Your wedding was the perfect way to start off our season with a bang. #yestocalabas forever!
