The house was still. The shades were open to let in the bright, winter sunlight. And the room was quiet except for the soft coos and the gentle stretches coming from sweet Baby A. Swaddled in a beige wrap with a matching floral headband, Baby A had finally fallen into a deep sleep. You see, at the start of the session little miss was wide awake. It's like she was ready to hangout with us. She was taking in the world around her with those curious eyes. She would look up at her mom and dad and give a little yawn, but fought the good fight to stay awake. As soon as Diana & Kenny cuddled her close, everything changed. Nestled in their arms, she began to relax. Her little grunts and squirms slowly gave way to a serene stillness, and soon enough, she was peacefully dozing off. At one point, Diana had mentioned that she couldn't remember the last time she was in such a deep sleep. And then, as if to say, "I'm exactly where I'm meant to be," baby girl gave the tiniest, quickest little smirk. It was only for an second, but it was one of those moments that melts your heart instantly. Diana & Kenny couldn’t help but gaze down at their sweet princess, their faces glowing with pure love and admiration.
This moment is so incredibly special because her fleeting smile was the perfect reminder of the incredible bond between a baby and his or her parents. In those quiet, tender moments, it's clear just how much you mean to your little ones. You are their whole world—their source of comfort, safety, and happiness. And in turn, your baby is your whole heart as a parent. It's purely magical when you think about it. And this sweet family of three is the prime example of that. Diana & Kenny have so much love in their hearts for Baby A. They look at her with the biggest heart eyes and even bigger smiles on their faces. Their pride and joy. Kenny's a big softy and brings out his best baby voice when talking to her while Diana just admires and compliments every feature and milestone of baby girl. It's no surprise that little miss feels so at ease with her parents because they are just simply the kind of people you want to be around. They have such caring natures and welcoming spirits it's hard to feel anything but joy when you're with them. I have so much love in my heart for this trio and I still can't believe I have the privilege to be a part of these early memories that they will cherish forever.
Diana and Kenny, thank you for letting me be a part of these precious first memories. I know I'm extremely delayed in sharing these and baby girl is growing each and everyday, but I am simply honored. Honored to call you friends. Honored to witness the love you two share and how you have beautifully welcomed sweet baby girl into your lives. You two were without a doubt meant to be parents, and Baby A is so lucky to call you hers!
