The lights were dimmed low and the spotlight was on. All their loved ones circled around the dance floor. All eyes were on them. Some were smiling. Some were swaying with the music. But one special someone stood out to us. He was in awe of watching his parents. Their oldest son was hugging the family member next to him with tears rolling down his cheeks. He couldn’t hold back his emotions. It was the bride and groom’s first dance. All of this, and the traditional Italian ambiance of Acquaviva Winery’s vintage venue, was the picture perfect setting for this intimate moment. It all felt very homey. It was still an elegant and beautiful celebration of love, but the entire evening felt warm and cozy, like when your family all snuggles together around the fireplace. We don’t know if this description does the day justice, but we felt like part of the family and there was so much love and happiness surrounding everyone.

That was the beauty of Carli and Anthony’s day. They have so much love for one another that the most important thing to them was marrying each other and celebrating with their loved ones. Just the significance of their first dance alone speaks volumes. This was one of the first times we’ve seen all the guests circled around the bride and groom. They all got to be a part of that moment instead of watching it from afar. It was beautiful to witness. This just proves how much family means to Carli and Anthony. Their wedding taught us that love is really all you need. Focusing on the moments that matter the most to you makes your day simply perfect for you. We love that family was one of the things that mattered most to them.

Carli and Anthony, you are both such a joy to work with. We are still in awe at how amazing your day was. Like come on, that vineyard was everything we could have imagined and more for your portraits! Thank you for sharing your love and happiness with us, not only on your wedding day, but during your engagement session as well (which you can see here). It has been so heartwarming to witness not only the love you have for each other, but the love you have for your two boys as well. How many people can say that their children were a part of their most special day? We are so happy that’s part of your story. Especially after seeing how impacted your little guy was watching you two. His emotional reaction is a moment we will never forget. Cheers to many more days full of family and love.
