It was like a movie. It was all almost too good to be true. The birds were chirping. The sun was shining but there was a refreshing breeze in the air. The white farm fence stretched for miles. There were very few cars passing by. Everything about the backroads of Barrington Hills was perfect. We waited in admiration for them to arrive, soaking in all the beauty at our fingertips. And then we saw them. Dana and Nick pulled up to our location with the biggest, warmest smiles on their faces. Dana got out of the car, said “Hey!,” and without hesitation gave us a hug. It was like we were long-time friends meeting up for a get together. And man, we knew it was going to be a beautiful, effortless evening celebrating their love.
We know this may sound silly because there are so many sweet moments from their session to tell you about, but this moment has a soft spot in our hearts. And if we’re being completely honest, their photos speak for themselves. So adorable, so romantic, and omg just perfect. If you know us at all, you know how important it is for us to make lasting connections with our clients. We want to be friends with everyone we work with. We love laughing with our clients. Learning about them. Meeting them for sweet treats just for fun (anyone up for an ice cream date, because we’re your gals)! So the fact that Dana treated us like old friends, kinda just makes our hearts melt into puddles. We think that this kind, simple gesture says a lot about who Dana and Nick are. They are SO incredibly caring for one another. For their families. And even their friends. Their hearts are just so big! They put so much thought into even the tiniest details of their lives together. Like how part of her engagement ring was passed down to her from her grandmother because family is very important to both of them. The way they look at each other is to die for. They instantly start smiling so big that it immediately turns into laughter. Okay we’re gushing too much, but you get the idea! They are the sweetest people and such a joy to be around!
Dana and Nick, we are so grateful that we get to celebrate you two. Thank you for welcoming us so warmly during your session and making our job so easy. It was almost TOO easy, because we didn’t want it to end! You two are so charismatic. Yet, at the same time, your love is playful and comfortable. We love how you can tease each other in such a loving way. It’s so fun to watch the two of you share sweet moments and laugh endlessly together. We cannot wait for your big day next year and are so thankful for your trust in us!
