Being photographers, it is hard to get ourselves in front of the camera, so we try to make it a point to do so once a year. We go through all the same steps we do with our clients. We work together to coordinate outfits and find the best location. Neither of our husbands enjoy getting their photos taken, which is funny because they chose to marry us photographers! This is always a tough part of our yearly session, but because we are all friends, we push each other through it and make it happen. For Emily’s session this year, we lucked out again with the fall colors. Which seems to be a theme for her because the same thing happened last year for her family session, and we love it. We promise we are not those crazy dog moms, but our pups are definitely part of our families, so it was a no brainer to have Emily and Alex’s dog, Rosie, in the photos. If you were following us last year, you’ll know Rosie was in their photos as a tiny puppy, it is crazy to see how much she has grown since then!
