There they were. Mom, Dad, big brother, and their newest little addition, all cuddled in close on the cozy, white bed. Big brother, being the lover he is, couldn’t contain his excitement. With giggles and endless smiles, all he wanted to do was give his baby brother kisses and snuggles. Seeing the admiration in big brother’s eyes, we already knew he officially had a best friend for life. That little baby will quickly learn that he is one lucky boy having a sidekick like his brother by his side. We just watched in awe as this family of four embraced one another, soaking in this precious time. It was as if time stood still. The room was filled with love and happiness. We couldn’t take our eyes off of them.
This special moment between the Manion family, and more specifically the two brothers, honestly doesn’t surprise us. They are such a loving, playful, and caring family. It has always been so clear to see how much they love their son, and this newest little boy was no exception. These boys are Mom and Dad’s worlds. Leading up to this day, we knew big brother was so excited for his new role, and man did he fill that role well. Sometimes having an older sibling at a newborn session can present some challenges, but not this time. Big brother was incredible. He tickled, kissed, snuggled, and held his new baby brother close. He was a natural. And we know Mom and Dad were watching in awe too. It really doesn’t get much better than that.
Manion family, we’ve watched as your family has grown over the last couple of years, and we truly don’t have the words. All we can say is thank you. Thank you for trusting us to capture your family’s most precious memories. You will always hold a special place in our hearts. We can’t wait to watch your boys’ relationship blossom into something incredible. And we know it will be. Congratulations again on your newest addition. He is simply perfect!
