It was early December. There was hardly any snow on the ground, but don’t be fooled, it was COLD! That didn’t stop her though. Standing tall and elegantly in her light blue sparkly quince dress, Serlyn smiled softly at the camera. Her tiara was shimmering in the sun while the bare trees of Independence Grove’s Native Garden made her stand out immaculately. She looked even more beautiful than she does on a daily basis. Nothing short of a princess. Like it was a total Elsa moment. Because the cold didn’t bother her on her big day as she proudly mentioned that her parents offered to celebrate one of the biggest birthdays of her life in the summer but she decided she’d rather do so properly. As close to her birthday as possible. So the December celebration was perfect for her.

And if we’re being honest, her Quinceañera was just perfect in general! From Serlyn’s entire dazzling look, her loving family and friends celebrating all night long, to some surprise performances! It all came together effortlessly. We mentioned that she looked like a real life princess. And wow are we jealous because if we hit the archives for photos of us when we were fifteen, we would not be able to say anything of the sort for ourselves. If you don’t remember the time that Serlyn got mistaken for a model, you might want to refresh your memory with her portrait session. So, it came as no surprise to us that she looked as radiant as she did. She’s just naturally beautiful inside and out. Model or princess, she’s just simply the best! But what we loved more than anything was how she embraced it and enjoyed every second of it. Her kind heart and reserved personality blossomed in the spotlight all day. Her smile never left her face. Just pure joy and happiness while celebrating her 15th birthday! What more can a girl ask for!

Serlyn, thank you so much for letting us be a part of your special day! It was simply beautiful celebrating you and working with a real life princess. Don’t ever stop smiling because yours is a precious one. We can’t wait to see all the good things coming your way. And we know that you have become such a stunning, kind hearted, and intelligent young woman!

Also, P.S. happy almost 16th birthday… because we know we’re a year late with sharing your Quinceanera. Hehe, better late than never right?
