It was the warmest day of March. Literally, just the week before we had a snow storm. But mother nature decided to bless us with a sunny 50 something degree day. It was glorious. The golden rays of the setting sun were shining through the trees. Everything was warm. And everything was covered in a soft glow. The park was bustling with people, but in that moment, it was just us. Jessica and Dustin stood hand-in-hand on the rocky riverbank. They stole kisses. Giggled contagiously. And embraced each other with a warmth that matched the weather perfectly. I couldn't help but marvel at their effortless connection. I made a remark towards their adventurous spirits because there was no hesitation for them to climb down into the river. And let me tell you, it was a bit of a steep climb. But Jessica's response took me by surprise as she giggled and said, "Not me! Only when I'm with Dustin, otherwise I'm very content hanging out at home." We all giggled at her statement and continued to create beautiful memories while climbing on the rocks, basking in the sunshine, and trying our best to not fall into the water. It was nothing short of magical.
In that midst of the magic, I took a moment to admire them. Two sweet souls, madly in love. And I couldn't help but be struck by the power of their love. I mean think about it. We all have our likes and dislikes. Our own personalities and preferences that make us who we are. But Jessica and Dustin's relationship is built around these differences in the most beautiful way. Jessica's admission that she's not typically an outdoorsy person wasn't just a silly moment of her explaining her preferences. It was a display of her willingness to embrace all of the adventures life brings her way with Dustin. And this speaks volumes about the depth of their love. Perhaps that was her response because Dustin loves the great outdoors, and she simply wants to spend time with him. Or maybe it's because being with him brings her such a profound sense of peace and comfort that she's willing to step out of her comfort zone knowing that she is always safe with him. I think it's a mixture of both. But, whatever the reason, one thing is abundantly clear: Jessica and Dustin's love knows no bounds. It's a love that inspires me to embrace life's adventures, to cherish each moment, and to find joy in the simple act of being together. I am so thankful that I got to witness this moment between Jessica and Dustin, because they are such kind people. Literally, Disney is their favorite place, like ever. It's hard to be anything but a ball of sunshine if you love Disney the way they do. They have such a playful relationship and there isn't a doubt in my mind that they were made for each other. If you couldn't already guess, I just think so highly of these two and I love that their personalities truly shined during their session!
