We're ready to book! What's next?
Yay! I'm so happy! To reserve your date, I require an electronically signed contract and a nonrefundable payment (which will go towards your total balance). Please keep in mind that dates are not held or saved on my calendar until this process is complete.
When will I receive my final gallery?
For portrait sessions, you will receive your final gallery up to two weeks after you've selected your favorite images. For weddings, you will receive your full gallery within eight weeks or less. All galleries are delivered via an online, password-protected gallery.
When is the remaining balance due?
For your session, the remaining balance is due one week prior to the session date.
For your wedding, the remaining balance will be due in full no later than thirty days prior to your big day.
What happens if you can't be there on my big day?
I have a network of trusted photographers who I would reach out to in an emergency. Your gallery would still be edited by me so you will still receive Love Elle quality images.
Can we choose the location for our photo shoot?
Absolutely! I believe that the location plays a significant role in capturing unique and personalized photographs. Whether it's at your home, a scenic outdoor location, or a venue of your choice, I'm open to capturing your portraits in a place that holds meaning to you. But, if you need assistance choosing a location, let me know and I'll share some of my favorites with you!
What do we do about bad weather?
If the weather doesn't cooperate on the day of an outdoor shoot, we can discuss alternatives such as rescheduling the session or finding an indoor location. I want to ensure the best possible outcome for your photos, and I'm very flexible since the weather is the one part of your session that I cannot control!
Are there any additional fees?
I do have a small travel fee for any distance that is greater than 30 miles from my home office. Certain locations require photo permits, admission fees or paid parking. I will let you know about said permits while you are choosing your locations. Some photo permits are non-refundable and non-transferable. Clients are responsible for reimbursing me for these fees if they occur.
Can I order an album or prints through you?
Yes! I've completely streamlined the process for you to order your keepsakes. You'll have access to a professional print lab through the storefront in your gallery. I will of course help you design and order albums and books!
Can our dog be in our photos?
Of course! I have a dog of my own so I get it. I won't include your dog in all of the photos, so it is beneficial to bring an extra set of hands to watch him or her. Also bring lots of treats too!
Can you help me choose my outfits?
Of course! I LOVE helping clients with styling. I have a session guide and other resources that I can send your way. But please, by all means, reach out and send me some options. I’ll happily talk through everything and give you my opinion. I can also send you some of my favorite stores if you are looking to buy something new.
