Where do we start with the Feldman family? Well, you may not recognize this beautiful family but you may know their name! We’ve worked with their extended family for so many milestones, and we love when we get to be a part of their newest moments. They are also longtime family friends of Emily’s family, which makes these sessions extra sweet. These first time parents weren’t actually sure if they wanted newborn photos done for their baby girl, but we are so glad they reached out. They are such a photogenic family and even their two Pugs were ready to have their picture taken. Fun fact, Mom and Dad weren’t even planning on including the dogs because they didn’t think it would be worth the hassle. Once we got them set up on their couch, the dogs jumped right up and sat there the WHOLE time. It was amazing. We don’t think we’ve ever worked with such picture perfect dogs before, and that’s saying a lot because we are those dog moms who have Instagrams for our own pups. They’re not even that well behaved!!
We’ve talked about it before… the photographer’s dream. When we walk into a space with huge windows and light colored walls we are instantly put on cloud nine. The Feldman’s house is just that for us. Gray and white everything AND so many big windows! What a dream! Baby girl’s nursery followed suit too. It was so simple and girly with touches of pink throughout. Just look at all the beautiful details! It was a no brainer for us to grab some family shots in there before photographing baby girl by herself.
Mom was SO prepared for baby girl’s solo photos. She had all of her options laid out on her kitchen island, and there were so many adorable outfits and headbands to choose from. Lexi feels like she needs to add a few more pieces to her girls’ headband collection after spending the day with them. Baby girl looked so cute in all of the outfits and headbands she wore, and we think that is especially due to her full head of hair. Does anyone else just LOVE when babies are born with lots of hair, or is that just us? Overall it’s safe to say that this was such a successful and beautiful newborn session. Baby girl did so well the whole time and it’s obvious that her parents are absolutely obsessed with her!
