This session was obviously super special because it was Lexi’s maternity session, and we don’t get to photograph each other very often. But it was even more special because this is baby #2 for Lexi, so our second personal maternity session. This one was so fun for us because we got to incorporate Lexi’s daughter, Leila. She is still at an age where she doesn’t totally understand what is going on, but watching those sweet moments like her kissing and hugging Lexi’s belly just melt our hearts. Lexi knew she wanted something different with this session, and because it was cold outside, we decided to do something new and photograph inside a studio. We loved the very clean, minimalistic style of the studio we found. It really helped keep the focus on the Kendalls. Despite a husband who hates getting his photo taken and a couple toddler tantrums, we still ended up with beautiful images to showcase this time in Lexi’s life. We are sharing this blog post a little late since baby girl has already arrived. Mom and baby doing great, we can't wait to share her newborn photos with all of you!
