As you all know we take a more lifestyle approach to the family portion of our newborn sessions. We always joke that we move in on session day, because we bring our set to the comfort of our clients’ homes. The Piscitiellos had the perfect idea to use their cozy master bedroom as the first location for their family portraits. This was a great idea because big sister had lots of energy and was jumping all around the bed so she got some of her wiggles out early in the session. There was no doubt in our minds that she loves being a big sister to her little sister because she gave her lots of kisses and snuggles. We absolutely had to incorporate baby girl’s nursery into the session because it was decorated so beautifully. We were shocked when we found out that baby girl’s gender was a surprise, because Mom said she bought the girly, pink accents when she was still in the hospital after the baby was born. It’s not everyday that we capture the newborn smiles, but baby girl gave us a bunch of them. She was super happy and a very calm baby, who only cried when she was hungry. What can we say, we had such a fun time with the Piscitiellos, we’d hang out with them any day.
