The lights were dimmed low. The giddy chatter began to die down. All eyes were glued to the dance floor. And the unique and cozy atmosphere of The Chalet at Little Switzerland started to feel more and more like home. It was warm. It was inviting. And the entire space was filled with an abundance of love. Leanne and David held each other close as if they never wanted to let go. Their arms wrapped tight around each other. Stealing kisses. Swaying too and fro. And so incredibly enamored with one another. It was all very reminiscent of the moment they shared on the pier last October during their engagement session. But, it was also very different. On the pier, it was just Leanne and David. They were laughing uncontrollably and holding on to keep each other safe. It was almost as if everything around them was frozen in time. There on the dance floor Leanne wiped away a tear as David kissed her temple. They embraced each other with so much compassion to comfort one another. They weren’t alone. They watched in admiration as two very important couples in their lives shared this dance alongside them. Her grandparents and her parents. Both couples celebrated anniversaries a few days before the wedding. So, Leanne and David honored them with a special dance on their big day. Seriously SUCH a sweet, emotional moment!

We’re going to be real with you. There were SO many sweet and memorable moments from Leanne and David’s wedding day. Their intimate first touch. The moment they saw each other for the first time as she walked down the aisle. David spraying both himself and the bridesmaids with a bottle of champagne (this one deserves its own story time one of these days). But, this simple gesture during the reception tugs on our heart strings. It was emotional. It was meaningful. And it was so true to who Leanne and David are as a couple. They are so loving. They have generous, caring hearts. Their happiness is contagious. And their families mean the world to them. It was very evident that while they were so incredibly happy to finally be married, nothing mattered more to them than being surrounded by their loved ones. If you think about it, this specific moment was also a glimpse into the future that Leanne and David want and pray for. It was as if they were looking at two different stages of their life together while celebrating the very beginning. A long, joyful marriage. A large, beautiful family. Endless laughter. Bountiful love. And endless slow dances. If you’re not tearing up yet, then we’re not doing this moment justice. It was honestly just beautiful to witness.

Leanne and David, we adore you two. Your love is so playful, yet it is kind. Your thrill for adventure is exciting, especially because we can tell that you two feel at home when you’re with each other. We love seeing how much you love and care for one another and your loved ones. We can go on and on about your love and your day, so we will keep it short. Thank you so much for letting us witness and celebrate your love for one another. The memories we captured will always have a special place in our hearts! We hope your forever is filled with countless belly laughs and even more love than was shared on your big day. Cheers to you Leanne and David!
