No surprise here, Alexis and Emily went to high school together. So it’s safe to say that this was another special wedding for us to be a part of. Alexis and Ado are such a beautiful couple. If you look through their gallery, you’ll see that they can’t take a bad picture. Who’s going to offer them a modeling contract?! Aside from being photogenic, they are such a fun couple. They wanted their day to be about having fun and they accomplished just that. They were surrounded by their closest friends which is super important when choosing your wedding party. The dance floor was definitely the place to be for quite a few of the bridesmaids and groomsmen and let us tell you that they’ve all got some killer dance moves! We found ourselves grooving along with them from the sidelines.
One thing that was super unique to us is that Ado was really into the planning process! It’s definitely not something we’re used to because our husbands just showed up the day of and said “I Do!”. It was refreshing to see a groom so involved in it all because it’s his day too! They kept it traditional though and Ado had no idea what Alexis’ dress looked like. Which we’re glad he didn’t because his reaction was priceless! Let’s be real she looked like a princess and supermodel all in one. We’re kind of obsessed with the lace detail on the bodice. And it was the perfect style for her day.
You know how they say it’s good luck if it rains on your wedding day? We truly believe that! It was raining all morning on their wedding day. The lovebirds wanted an outdoor ceremony so they had to make the tough call to move it indoors. We know that they were kind of bummed but OMG was it still a beautiful ceremony. Right as Alexis got to the altar, the rain cleared up and the sun was shining through the windows. It was picture perfect. We’re glad the rain stopped because we got to go outside and take some pretty breathtaking portraits of them. Take a look for yourself.
