After a day of rain, the sun was finally out. Peaking through the clouds, it was the perfect accessory to a private moment with our bride and groom. It was magical. Christine and Ben were finally married, and it was time for one of our favorite parts of a wedding day…sunset photos. With the sun glowing behind them, it was like a scene right out of a movie. They were standing on the ethereal greens of the Briar Ridge Country Club, with her cathedral length veil blowing in the wind. They were stealing sweet kisses and sharing lots of giggles. We want to preface this story by saying Christine and Ben shared how excited they were for sunset photos, so we knew it was a must on their big day! So much so that they put their dinner aside and walked outside with the biggest smiles on their faces.

Sunsets are the way to our hearts. Throw in one of our beautiful couples and it is a perfect combination. This is truly what we experienced with Christine and Ben. It’s a no brainer why we love sunset photos so much, it’s the one part of a wedding day where all the stress is gone. The new Mr. and Mrs. finally let their personalities shine and show their true selves as the “hard” parts of the day are over. It’s a simple moment of just being. Being together. This is one of the things we adore about Christine and Ben. Their desire to be together. Their love is strong, you can tell how much they truly care about each other. There is such a twinkle in their eyes when they look at each other. It’s heartwarming. It’s impossible not to smile when around these two, especially because at this point they were finally relaxed and happy to officially be married.

Christine and Ben, we adore you and your sweet love. We cannot thank you enough for trusting us to be a part of your special day. Your calmness throughout the day was so refreshing to be around. We admire your ability to just go with the flow. Especially because at the end of the day, all that mattered to you was starting your forever. We love that. We wish you all the happiness in the world. We hope to be invited to all your future family gatherings because you all know how to tear it up on the dance floor. Cheers to you Mr. and Mrs. B!
