We cannot believe the day has finally come and gone! Jaki is officially a college graduate! Before we dive too deep into her session, we guess we should let you know that Jaki is family. Her and Emily are cousins, so to say that we are proud of her is an understatement. It has been such a blessing to watch her accomplish all that she has over the years. We cannot wait to see where her new job takes her. P.S. How cool is it that she graduated and already has a job!?
We’re not going to lie, we were sooo excited to photograph Jaki for her graduation because we LOVE Northwestern’s campus. It is one of those locations that we keep going back to for multiple sessions a year. Normally we take our couples there, so believe it or not, she was our first graduating senior there! We were shocked that even though we had been there so many times, Jaki was still able to show us some new, pretty locations.
For those of you who don’t know her, Jaki is such a gem to be around. She is so full of life and always has a smile on her face. Literally radiates happiness all the time! Emily always says that when she thinks of Jaki, she thinks of the color yellow. Not to mention, Jaki is SO photogenic. She can’t take a bad photo and we think part of it is because she is so bubbly. We have to give a shoutout to our girl Mariela from Glitter and Glam for doing Jaki’s makeup and nails for the session. She incorporated the color purple subtly everywhere she could since purple is Northwestern’s school color. We think she did an amazing job and Jaki looked beautiful. Jaki, once again, we are so happy and proud of you! We can’t wait to see what the future holds for you.
