Bathed in the soft glow of golden hour, we found ourselves in awe. We were standing on a grassy path of Fort Sheridan Forest Preserve. We were surrounded by tall pampas grasses that danced in the gentle breeze. The sun was a warm embrace filtering through the leaves. And it painted the scene with hues of gold and amber. It was a moment frozen in time. A tranquil backdrop for Beau & Chris's journey into parenthood. As we were amazed by the beauty unfolding before us, it was evident that this session held a unique significance. Beau and Chris, with smiles that mirrored the depth of their decade of shared history, radiated excitement for the new chapter ahead. First-time parenthood awaited them. And the forest preserve provided the perfect canvas for capturing the beauty of anticipation. Amidst this serene setting, a lighthearted exchange unfolded. We joked about Beau's heels and the prospect of needing a foot rub later after all the walking we had done. Laughter filled the air. Chris, with a twinkle in his eye, remarked that foot rubs had become a regular occurrence in their days. Beau giggled and proudly nodded her head in agreement. The playful banter not only added a touch of humor to the session but also revealed the deep bond and joy that fills their relationship.
We love this moment. We are obviously so drawn to the physical beauty that surrounded us. But our hearts are filled to the brim from witnessing their joy. The warmth of the sunlight seemed to echo the warmth of their connection. Creating an atmosphere where laughter flowed freely, and love embraced them like the gentle rays filtering through the forest preserve. Beau and Chris are such a perfect duo. They are both so happy around each other and laughter resides in the forefront of their relationship. Both of them are more reserved in nature. But, when they are together you can tell that they are so effortlessly, comfortable. They smile easier. They let their personalities shine as they feed off of one another. Like two perfect peas in a pod. You can tell that when Beau and Chris look at one another, they are home. So, watching these two dote over one another left us reflecting on the beauty of their journey into parenthood. The thought of them welcoming a baby into that nurturing, love-filled home that resides in their hearts is so wholesome. Their session was a testament to their love that had blossomed over the years, evolving into a new phase of shared excitment. It was one of those moments where you sit back and say, "Wow. These two are exactly where they are meant to be. And they are so ready for this next phase of life." It was beautiful to say the least.
